I just set up a cuddeback 3.0 capture. From may 1 to may 15 I only got 50 pictures and it quit taking pictures on the 15th. The time stamps were way off on the 14th so I am guessing the batteries went dead. Set it up again June 4th called cuddeback custimer service while in the field with the camera and walked through the set up step by step with them. So far I am disapointed with the camera!

UPDATE 07-01-10

Well, this was the best performance yet out of this camera. it took 1,200 pics before going dead over a period of 4 weeks. It went dead at about 25 days. I had it set to take a pic every 5 minutes this time. All pictures were of animals with no 'empty' pics. Hopefully it will keep this up and I will be happy with it. I moved from one lease in Wilson County that literally was infested with hogs only to travel 200 miles west and find a bunch more! If it wasn't for the group of hogs being there every morning and evening I might have gotten 6-8 weeks out of it! LOL

I am returning mine and not getting another one. THis is my 2nd one. Battery life is not worth it IMO. BTC works better and I jusit bought the Primos truth cam 60 and love it so far.

UPDATE 09/13/10

I went to the lease last weekend and the Cuddeback had almost 1,000 pics on it and was still working as it took a picture of me when I pulled up. I simply cannot believe this as it has never lasted that long before. I believe that some of the other guys on the lease most likely changed the batteries out about 3-4 weeks prior to this and that may explain it.

I am planning a trip back out there either this coming weekend or next weekend and will update then. I'm hoping that maybe it is working like it should but I'm not holding my breath!
