I'm tired of the hogs being just out of the reach of my light, what is a pretty good one without spending a fortune??

academy has the q beam III I think. car model and battery model. Car one is like 30 and rechargable portable one is 50. Car one will light up 400 plus yards no joke.

the spot light i like to use are made by cyclops and they are 20 bucks i use them throughout the year and go through about two a year. but 40 dollars a year isnt bad for spot lights and it will reach out really far

i went with the q beam III, used it tonite, works well for the $27 i spent, i would say a good beam out to 300 plus yards, all to no avail tho, the piggies didnt want to come out and play frown

Why not get a Varmint Special?

Only real upgrade is for a better switch, otherwise, it's a turnkey awesome light for hunting.

There is some promising advancements being made in the HID and LED markets, time will tell how they come along.

I'm thinking of putting a ballast and HID conversion in one of my Q-Beam lights. Need to remember to order the kit.
