I am currently looking into a place in Jim wells county that is looking for seven guns. I was just wondering if anyone is interested in the area before I decide to put a bid in on the place. It is a large property allowing for more then 275 acres per gun. It should be reasonably priced unless some yuppie puts a ridiculous bid on the place. My main question is, is anyone interested in hunting that county?

it will be in the 2000 to 2500 range, which is what the ranch is looking for but if someone decides to bid more then it won't matter.

I will tell you what the situation is once I have looked at the place. It will be soon though. Don't worry the actual ranch is large enough to where the pressure around won't affect the hunting and it has been managed for a long time.

Well, I never got a call back from the Ranch manager. So, I went and found something else. Those of you who may be interested in hunting the Alice area, La Copita ranch is taking bids. They are looking for 5-7 guns for 2700 acres. They are looking for something about 2k a gun. If yall are interested give the ranch manager a call and see if you can set something up. Sorry, I couldn't be more help.
