dad shot this buck low fence brownwood last year, how old do you believe it is and score?

I think he's right at 150. no idea on the age... I've never been good aging them ince they're dead

he grossed 162 he just got lucky i hunted that same stand the night before only saw young bucks

I'd say 4 1/2 in south Texas-where you hunt he could be 5 1/2- nice deer with alittle trash, hope he's at the taxidermist

It's a little tough to tell lookin' at him from this angle but it wouldn't surprise me if he was 4 1/2 tops, maybe even 3 1/2. I just say that b/c he doesn't look very scarred up and all the deer I've shot that were 4 1/2+ had narly bases. If you find out for sure, let us know! Congrats

Hard for me to tell about age without looking at the body on the hoof. I would guess 4.5 to 5.5...I had his score about 154 before I read what he actually scored. Great deer.
