The best is Buckeye, but you will pay for it.

You will pay A LOT for buckeye. I personally think too much. I think reconyx are the best value for top of the line and they have trigger speeds just as fast or faster than Buckeye. I believe their professional grade is fast as 1/10 of a second. Buckeye states their reaction speed is 0.2 seconds. However, for the low budge money camera...I absolutely LOVE my Remington "Ghost" camera. I have heard something about a recall on it...but I would take that over my moultrie any day. My only gripe about the Ghost is it not having a solar panel external battery input. Other than that....I would buy two more.

I have had 3 stealth cams since the fall of '08 so I guess that would be 2 full seasons of use. They've been out in the weather for about 11 months total and haven't had any issues with them yet. I just put them out again last Sunday and will be checking them for the first time this year in 2 days! Clear pics and seem to have good trigger time. They cost me around $120 a piece when I bought them at Academy.

Buckeye states their reaction speed is 0.2 seconds. True, and in that .2 seconds the buckeye takes two pictures...the first calculates for light/movement/etc. and the second is the picture that is saved to the card...giving you the best picture for the given scenario. There is a reason for the high cost of the buckeye's...some see the need for that, others do not.
