Two years ago a guy in Texas gave me a fantastic recipe to use for wild pork roast. The reason I remember this recipe at this time is: I will be hog hunting in your state again next week and plan to have ALOT of roasts available.

The Recipe:
1). Take 3-4# hog roast (bone in or out- doesn't matter)
2). Rub generously with two or three packages of commercial FAJITA mix working the mix into it well
3). Wrap in two or three layers of heavy duty alumimum foil with each layer sealed seperately.
4). Place on BBQ grill over low heat (about 225 degrees)
5). Cook slowly for 3-4 hours, then turn to opposite side for additional 2 hours
6). ENJOY!!!! Excuse me- I had to wipe the drool off my keyboard and chin. Just the thought is enough.

Meat just falls apart & is SSSSSSOOOOOOOOO tender you can cut it with a fork. Wife used it to make the best pulled pork sandwiches our family EVER ate.

Sounds good I'll have to try that! I use Tony's on mine and poke some holes all in it and stick garlic cloves in there and cover with sliced onion. Bake covered on very low all day or slow cook wrapped in foil on the grill.

That does sound plumb larupin!! Try seasoning with Fiesta brand Pork Rub& let it marinate all night in the fridge, then put it on the pit & let it smoke on 275-300 degrees for about 1.5 hours, then cover in heavy foil or roasting pan covered until done, it will be so juicy from steaming in it's own juices & you can pinch off a bite of it, it'll be so tender!!
