There have been 24 weeks this off season so far, I would like to shoot 2 rounds every 2 weeks, that’s 1 round a week average, that would be 625 targets as ytd goal. I think I probably only shot about 500 targets this off season, hope to shoot a lot more before season starts. I really do not care to shoot a lot, but I do try to get better each year!

Well, now you made me think of it. Elm Fork is makin a killing off of me. I'm in that 30 round range, a bunch of skeet, and a few rounds of sporting clays.

Not as much this offseason as last year, but I have shot through 4 and a half boxes of 90. Still have a box and a half left to shoot before season.

I planned to shoot today, but the rain has me delayed.

Was shooting about 500 a week. Then got my new o/u and things fell apart for me!! ( that 5 stand got in my head) didnt shoot after that. Started again last week. Took my gun to ADM to get a fiting and found out the reason I was missing so much with it was that I canter the stock, you can get away with that on a single barrel, but not a double!! So they are twisting my stock. I go back Tuesday to see how much cast to put in it. Gun makers hate leftys!!

Been pretty busy but I've shot about 15 rounds. Hoping between now and Sept. 2nd I can get in about 2-3 rounds per week

I heard that! Just makes things more difficult. One of these days I want to get a good over-under with the proper cast and drop for me, I bet it would make a big difference. Although the one station I shot Judd's Cynergy on I got 10 outta 10 on. Maybe that's what I'll get someday. That day is a long way off.

Are you talking about the elm fork over by 114 and northwest highway right where dallas and irving meet? I've made it out there a few times for sporting clays and thought their two courses were solid...not too expensive as long as you dont forget to buy your shells before you get there...

Uh oh. This worries me because I am a lefty and I'm about to get my first O/U too. Hmmm.....

That's what I'm thinking about getting. The Cynergy fit me better than all the berettas I tried.

I was at Elm Fork yesterday morning. Used my last punch on my discount card and really not excited about buying another one.

About 200 targets in 2 shoots. I'll get in another 3 or 4 shoots before September.

That's my issue. I love shooting, but you're looking at $100 at least every time you shoot the course.

It's fun, I just can't afford it right now. Heck, I bought a perfect condition .300 WinMag for the price of a few trips to Elm Fork.

If someone would open a range in the Dallas area that is remotely affordable, I think they would bank.

Backwoods was that place, but they gave it up. After that, Elm Fork basically has no competition in the Dallas area so they control the market.
