Looking for the easiest on the rifle but the quickest to get to. Any good mounts to hold a rifle up front with the driver?

I made my own. See my pictures in the first post on the "Lets see your side by sides" in this section. I looked lone and hard on the Internet when I first got my Rhino and I didn't like any of the offerings. Most hang directly over your head and I didn't like that. The two seater Rhino doesn't have room for a floor mount.

I just leave mine in the soft case and put it in the bed next to my backpack.

I have the soft rifle holder/case that mounts to the back side of the cage and holds two rifles.
It is an OK $100 fix, but not so much in wet weather.
I also haul 1 rifle in a hard case from time to time by wedging it between the rear of the cage and some PVC poles I built to fit in the holes of the ranger bed.

Thanks guys. After driving up on hogs and coyotes a few times I'm trying to find a way to carry where I can get to a rifle really quickly. I just hate to miss any opportunity to take out a hog or yote.

I was also kicking around getting one of the roof mounted gun holders, but the amount of dust that comes into the cab has held me off.

Thought about that too Dave. I may just have to get a " beater " rifle to keep in the Polaris. Going to be hard for me to watch a gun get scratched up but if it starts out that way I guess it'll be OK.

I have a half windshield in mine and i bolted a piece of 2" angle right above it(the shield actually goes in the angle) and then I mounted a dbl. rack like the ones you had in a back window from the angle down to the dash

not at all, it was something I stuck on there one day with stuff laying around the barn and it has been trouble free and has been thru some rough country fast and slow, rides alot easier than when I was hunting off of a 4-wheeler

those from rugged gear look good too. i had the floor mount one from cabelas in my golf cart and really hated it. it would rock back and forth all over the place. while it kept them safe, it was really annoying while driving.
