I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere around the DFW area that carries metal barrel lids that are held on by springs. Your help would be much appericated.

I would recommend the heavy metal lids at Gander Mountain...has a long lip and if you want more security (throw a rock on top).

Lid with springs, try monarch in Arlington www.deerfeeder.com

Hope this helps,

Casey

I dont think either has springs on their lids. I know Bass Pro has some with springs, and the Grapevine location also has the heavy stamped steel ones that just slide over, which I prefer over the springs.
