Anybody know where I could buy a couple pairs of homing pidgeons? Also how long does it take them to breed and grow their offspring that you can actually use for training?
I don't know much about them but they seem to be a great option for training. Any of you guys that use them wanna through in some raising and training tips?
Thanks

I bet I could help you out with the racing homers amigo. I can help with the raising and training part of the homers for sure. Once your pairs are settled in good, with good feed and water you should raise about ten young a season from each pair. The youngsters should be flying out to the 100 mile mark by the time they are 6 months old... Kinda depends on how many youngsters you are training and the amount of time you can spare for training tosses. Truly, Jimbo

Hey jimbo how can I get a hold of you? I would love birds that would travel that far. I have a training buddy that has a place about 30 miles from here.

Check your PM's amigo. I'll go send you one now. You can fly them a bunch farther than that with training. I wouldn't be afraid to use them out to the 500 mile mark if you train and release them in the morning. Jimbo
