i went and shot 3D yesterday with a buddy of mine and we forgot to take a sulpher sock with us and now i got damn chiggers on my legs. What do yall suggest besides clear finger nail polish cause my girlfriend got pissed last time i used it all up.

If you take apple cider vinegar tablets for a few days before you head into an area that has chiggers they won't bite you. As a side benefit you will loose weight and have more energy. Once you get chiggers there isn't much you can do about them, I should know I've had thousands of bites from them until i found out about the vinegar tablets. My dad and I used to drink it before going hunting and it was pretty rough at 5 am.

Ammonia works, or use some glass cleaner that has ammonia, trust me.. I know's Chiggers!

I have dealt w/chiggers kicking my butt bad for a long time. I've tried everything under the sun to make the itch/bite go away. Just the other day I had some in an awful place. Searched & searched for a solution on the web & found one that actually works. Listerine Cool Mint! IDK if it has to be cool mint or not but it worked instantly & actually made the itchy spots go away. Pour it onto a towel, srub it on the 'bite' & it'll go away.

i have some hand sanitizer on my desk at work that i have been putting on them and it actually seems to work as well, i got desperate and needed something

Not true. I'm telling y'all Listerine rules. I've tried all the commercial products, finger nail polish, gas, baking soda, all kinds of topical salves. None of it did much, if anything. LISTERINE!

Yes mouthwash. Pour it on a towel & scrub the bite w/it. I believe it is the combination of alcohol, ??? acid & something else I don't remember is what they say makes it work.

Just put on some OFF! & they won't bother you or sulpher in a sock, smack yourself w/the sock a few times on your boots, legs & wherever else you might get them. Prevention is the best cure. I hate the damn things w/a passion.

I have heard that bengay works good to get rid of them once you got em, but only on the parts the sun dont shine.

I eat Copenhagen from the time I'm awake till I go to bed and they still manage to get me. Without sounding gay, I don't spit out Copenhagen long cut. That's why I dip, I like the taste..
