I am in search of some Varget powder.. Does anybody know of where there is some at close to Lufkin? I live in Lufkin and I'd be willing to travel from Tyler to Houston if someone knows where theres a couple of pounds in stock... Help me out!

Is there a Gander Mountain in Lufkin? Call Mac's Gun Shop in Tyler and tell them you will are coming from Lufkin. If they dont have it they may can get it for you. I usually talk to Matt.

No Gander Mountain here, closest one is in Tyler. Heard rumors of a possible one in the future but nothing right now. I'll have to call those guys and check with them. Thanks! Anybody else?

I can tell you where about 30 pounds of Varget is located a few miles up the road from you, and it is at MY house. I am in Nacogdoches and would be willing to help you out with a pound or two if you are in a bind. I generally buy all my powder and primers from Powder Valley. Here is a link. Powder Valley

I have a truck driver buddy from Missouri whose local gun shop has 8 pounders of Varget IN STOCK, and I am going get him to bring me 2 or 3 of them when he gets back down this way. If you want one too, let me know.

We have about 10-12 lbs at our store in 1lb containers. If you are willing to drive that far...
We are in Bryan, TX. 6951 East SH 21. It goes for about $27 each.

HD I was able to get a couple of pounds from retrieverman, but thanks for the heads up! If I hadn't gotten the powder already I would have made the drive, but I'm good for right now.....
