I saw the other post about the guy shooting his 300 Win. Mag. and experiencing more recoil than he was happy with, and thought I would expand on that idea..
Any of ya'll who live in Houston or thereabouts, and need a rifle sighted in, can let me do it for you. All I need is your gun, a box of bullets (20 rounds will be more than enough), and I'll do the dirty work. I'll guarantee you that the gun will be sighted in perfectly (for me! ha ha!).
I'd prefer the larger magnums, but will work with any rifle that anyone needs help with.
For me personally, sighting in a rifle is a LOT of fun and if you don't like doing it, I'm your man. If you have a rifle that won't shoot well, and need a second opinion to help figure out if it is the gun, or the shooter-I'm here to help. If you just want to meet at the range and shoot each others rifles, I'm down for that too.
My services are free, but you can tip with me beer or brass if you really want to.

Nice offer, although any man that cannot handle his own gun should sell it. I have never heard of anyone letting someone else sight in their gun, but to each his own.

I did'nt expect anyone to take me up on the offer. Not that I would refuse it! The chance to put some lead down range at no expense is more than I can resist.

I have seen people sight in other folks guns at the range. It's usually a new gun owner who doesn't know what to do, and wants someone who can shoot better than him sight it in to get the best possible results. I guess that makes sense. But I don't want anyone else sighting mine in. "The dang gun must have gotten bumped since I sighted it in" is one of my best excuses.

1) A guy should be able to handle his own rifle. 2) A guy should know how his rifle and related equipment function. 3) If bumping your rifle knocks off zero, you need better equipment.
