The high plains has its Sunday clothes on-with all the snow and recent rains the grass is green and tall. The grass actually moves like Wheat when the wind is blowing. The point being if we continue to be blessed with rain we should have excellent cover and food for the Quail and Pheasants. Gary with East High Lonesome, LLC

Gary with East High Lonesome, LLC Sounds great send pictures, some of us city folks never get to see Amber Waves of Grain. I know its green now, that is great news. I only see short green winter wheat when hunting in the panhandle in December. Thanks for letting us know about the great conditions, keep us posted.

Gentlemen, I am unable to post photos. I will get in touch with the moderator and try to figure it out. The wind has been crazy but it is still in great shape.

Gary with East High Lonesome, LLC We can actually use no rain or heavy wind for the next three weeks After the combines run you can do the rain dance

Just as we were starting to burn we got another great rain last night. Lots of cover, bugs. It is shaping up to be a good year in the panhandle.
