I am back in the market for feeders for this upcoming year. We already have a few winch up style ones . We are looking for (1) winch up (350lb) corn broadcast and (1) 1000lb or so protein.

We didn't buy the winch up feeders we currently have. My uncles bought them when they were still owners of the property so we don't know where they got them. They aren't the nicest out there, but they have definitely served us well over the last 8 years. Here is what the winch up ones we have look like

Also we are looking for is a 1000lb or so protein gravity feeder. Something not to expensive. I am tired of using protein blocks that the hogs eat in a night, need something the hogs cant touch.

Id rather not spend more than $500 on the winch up type, no more than $600 on the protein feeder.

Just to clarify I have a huge list of alot of feeders I have found from my own research. Just curious what you guys are using and if they are good quality. I know that you get what you pay for but I have found some that are farely inexpensive and appear to be of great quality.

I have heard some really mixed reviews on the All Seasons, what do you guys know about them?

Thanks in advance for all your help

Josh

I am one of the owners. Its named after my grandfather Bill Jordan (pronounced like Realtree's Bill Jordan). However not the same, my grandfather was about 40 years older than Realtree's Bill. Our ranch has had this name for about the last 70 years or so. Pretty often people come back asking if our ranch is owned by Realtree, its funny, but definitely not the same person.

I will second the All Season feeders. You might check this company on the cranks. www.fieldprofeeders.com

You can buy the cranks w/o the barrels or spinners. I thought about getting one.

Welcome Josh,
I hunt In Roosevelt 20 miles west of Junction.
What Size Feeder is the problem I had. Found All Seasons
Dealers in both places. Like dealing with locals they are always helpfull and right there if you need Help.
Wanted large feeder due to the fact I live 400 miles away.
The added cost of large feeder would be offset by less trips. I am getting feeder that can be converted from Protien off season to Brodcast feeder during season.
Also looked at BossBuck 1200 lbs feeder but no dealers near there. Am still wanting info on Protien and Feed prices up that way. Some say it is possible to Broadcast the two together. Others say NO WAY. Let me know if you have any info on these two things
Thanks and again Welcome.
Charles

I dont need something tha can be converted. We alredy have plenty of corn feeders. We just want a protein feeder that we can put in the middle of the property away from all the blinds so the deer feel a bit of safety when they eat so they will eat alot of it.
