oh yeah, ond use some kind of coarse salt. It last longer in the smoker and penetrates the meat better than table salt.

my friends and family all tell me how great my smoked meat is seasoned. I let them think I make my own rub. I use the rub from B&W meat market here in Houston. I hope none of them are on here and figure it out...

I am not a competition cook, but one of the best all around rubs I have used is Grub Rub. I use it on everything.

Look on texasgourmet.com the brisket rub on there is the best I have ever used. the whole way he said to do the brisket works great.
