One word when it comes to a hoodie....GUMBO!!! With that being said, I have tried a merganser grilled, chicken fried, and wrapped. The first 2 were horrible, the baccon wrap was pretty damn good, but the Gumbo is hands down a prefect concoction for a hoddie to be thrown into!  BTW, heck of a job on that mount Matt! The meal in his mouth sets it off if you ask me! Can't wait to see what you do with that pintail of mine!

Hey have you ever done a hoodie with a crawdaddy ? Yessir, the ones I was getting were just too big, so I ordered my own and mount them up myself...that way I can position one the way I like it in the merg's mouth.

Beautiful mount, and GREAT use of a terrible tasting bird. Anything that is not edible after being wrapped in bacon truly tastes bad! I always enjoy the BirdWorks posts....hopefully get you to mount one for me one day!
