Ok guys... Here is the deal on the deposits. The land owner would prefer to only receive one deposit check. I had thought of having the checks made out to them, sent to me, and then I could send just one envelope with our deposits. However, in keeping with the way they prefer things... I will just have everyone send me a check. Once I have all of the deposits in I will send them one deposit check for the group. If anyone has a problem with this please let me know.

Now for the amount... They said they only require 20%. Per my pathetic math skills... I believe that comes to $30 each. I am basing that off of us each taking 1 doe. As a group, if you all prefer to do a half deposit... $75 each... I am fine with that. Either way they will be happy. I just want to make sure we all do the same amount. Let me know what you guys think about the amount.

Once we decide on the amount the group prefers I will PM you all my information. After I receive your deposit, if things change and you can not make it, you will be responsible for getting your deposit back from the person who takes your spot. The person taking the spot will not be "officially" on the hunt until I get word saying their deposit was received.

Your deposit goes towards your hunt. If we decide to go with $75 deposits you will only owe $75 upon taking your first doe. As a group, if we spend $1200 there lodging is free. If we each take one doe we will be at that number. If we do not spend $1200 as a group I believe lodging is $55 a night for the group.

If you have any other questions just let me know. I am looking forward to the hunt

$75 for the deposit works for me. Does that work for everyone else?

i dont mind payin half @ $75, but why dont we just send swaggerfan the $30. $240 is 20%, thats $30 each. thats just for them to hold the dates. i am sure they will let us harvest a second doe or change up the hunt once we get there, and pay for it. this is no kill no pay. i am sure there wont be a problem , but i would rather only have $30 in it. JMO i will do what y'all decide though.

They only asked for a 20% deposit. I am good with sending either. We can definitely change up the hunt when we get there. You can take as many does as you like, and if you want a buck those are available as well.

Not to ruffle anyone's feathers......but I think since Nathan put this deal together, we need to just let him set how much the deposit needs to be.......$35 is nice and low, but some people don't mind losing $35 and not going putting everyone else in a bind.......$75 kinda makes people think twice about going or finding a replacement if you can't go........
Just my .02
Nathan I will send whatever you need.......

I am with kwr. Even though $30 would be better for me right now $75 would make people think alittle bit before backing out.

I am gathering we are all at least ok with a $75 deposit? Let's just set the deposit for that.

Unless there are any major objections to this amount I will get my info out to you all today.

Ok guys, I have already received a few deposits. Thank you If I have received your deposit you will have gotten a PM saying I got it.

I was asked if we are in charge of field dressing our doe. You are welcome to handle your own if you like, or there will be a hand on site to help with this. The charge is $25 per animal. That should get it put in your cooler for you.

I will be out of town for a few days starting tomorrow. I hope to be back Saturday at some point. If I get any deposits while I away I will PM you when I return. On Monday I will deposit whatever checks I have received up to that point.
