Press release yesterday! TO open early summer 2011.
14 acres 100,000 square feet.

no specific reason really ive just always enjoyed shopping there more. when cabelas didnt have something bass pro has had it. and cabelas' overpriced hot dogs suck haha

well, I'm all for another Cabelas location. BPS only gets my business when there's a lack of other options. Allen? I can't say that will be the best location. But it's obvious, whoever chooses their locations has a serious view of their own colon. At least BPS realized a need for one CLOSE tot eh metroplex, and stuck a store in Garland. Can't say I'll make it to the Allen location any more often than i do the Ft. Worth store

I do most of my shoping at Academy. Next choice is BPS and last is Cableas.
Academy has the best prices!
BPS has better selection!
Cabelas has used guns and thats the biggest draw for me to thier store!

Out of curiosity why do you prefer Bass Pro?
I prefer BPS b/c it means I get to use going as an excuse to spend the night in Shreveport/BC and take part in the "usual activities" associated with the place.

This will be really nice when they open 190 up to 30.
I can flip off BPS as I pass by on 30. BPS is literally my least favorite "hunting" store, and only a last result.
Bass Pro Garland SUCKS! The only thing they are good for is ammo, last minute camo, decent food in their restaurant, and free pictures with santa.
