My family has a place outside of Ravenna, and we have never turkey hunted it. I have only seen turkey twice, but the one main group I saw looked to be about a dozen big toms.... I hadn't really even thought about trying to hunt up there, but now I see it as an opportunity. Does anyone hunt in Fannin county around Ravenna? If so, what are yall's opinions on the area and the turkey population? As far as I know, a good turkey population was released in the area about 10 or so years ago, but thats all I have heard.

Used to duck hunt around Ravenna but never heard or saw any signs. Give it a shot. You have until Friday since the season ends 4/30.

Is Fannin one of the 11 counties that end in April 30th.

Some of the best turkey hunting I have done is in Fannin County. But I have a secret spot!
