Well i bought a Bitzenburger(spelling) jig and i went back and forth trying to decide on a straight or a right helicoil clamp. I ended up buying the right helicoil clamp. I have re-fletched all my arrows but one(for a control.) they seem to be shooting dead on, but my one control arrow (Beman ICS Hunter Elite) has straight fletchings.... should i have straight for a bow shooting at 298fps?

I fletched my own arrows for 35 years.
and alwaye with feathers,
this last year i bought a new bowtech.
shes fast.
it made my feathers sing all the way to the target.
have you ever had a humming bird fly around your head , well that what it sounded like.
I had no choice but to go to plastic vains.
but i still keep it with helicoil twist.
that allows me to watch the arrow go down range.

I don’t think it is going to matter one bit. I shot a Bowtech pro 40 dully in 2004 at the time the pro 40 and the Black Knight were the two fastest bows on the market. I fletched both ways and I had no problem. The only problem I ever had with that bow was trying to get it under 280 fps to be able to compete in sanctioned 3D shoots.
