anything to throw corn a long way. Hunting a 500 open stretch of pipe line and thought it would be nice to be able to feed all the way along it.

due to gravity, that is dang near impossible. Easiest thing to do is take 2 bags of corn..lay one across the front rack of the 4wheeler, cut a hole in it, drive and let it sprinkle. Or if its driveable, put someone in the back of the truck holding the bag and drive. We do this to about 1000 yards of treeline in a pasture but it takes about 4-5 bags and it is done about once a week. Some ppl don't like to have corn on the ground overnight, but when cold weather hits and does are standing around feeding, the bucks tend to make appearances.

How bout a feeder that would slip into a hitch receiver under your rear bumper. you can plug the motor into your trailer hitch wiring receptacle and simply turn your lights on and off to operate the feeder as you drive along the pipe line. The feeder is easy to build, and motors with the plug I referred to are available from an outfit in San Antonio as well as spinner plates. Motors were about $25 last time I ordered.

What about one of those t-shirt cannons? Load it with corn and let it fly every couple hours? Then the deer could hear the sound and know to come running to the corn.

Use a road feeder on your truck / ATV and "corn" the clearing prior to hunting it, or add an additional feeder.

I have no idea as to how one would go about slinging corn up to 500'. Would probably require shooting the corn out of a pipe using a pneumatic setup of some sort.

get a Straight-Shooter timer and install it on your feeder.
It will throw a line of corn about 30-40 yards out

Use a road feeder, it will spread corn out so well it'll keep them there longer than Indian corn.

I like the t-shirt cannon idea. May give it a shot this season.
