Hey all. I have a guy from this forum (Gambling Man) who is wanting to come up and take a Soldier or 2 turkey hunting on the Places I have for Soldiers to hunt. Gambling Man lives to turkey hunt and knows what he is doing. Last time I tried calling turkeys up, I called a bunch of cows lol. Anyway for the Soldier to be elligable, they must have been to Iraq, or Afghanistan (not just flew over it or delivered items there) but have fought for our Coutry there. The hunt is free and your place to stay is free. Please PM me and we will get a date set up.

Active Duty or Reserve as long as you have been to Iraq or Afghanistan in this war and have fought in it, not just delivered supplies and was nowhere near a war zone. I do this to try and help with the mental healing of the Soldiers and Disabled Veterans. armed I know you can shoot a rifle but can you shoot a shotgun hehe.

I'm not eligible, even though I was infantry in both places I'm not active or reserves anymore since I rate disability.
Trust me hunting is a release and good way to direct energy without hurting anyone. I can always tell when I need to get afield because I start getting very short tempered and short with people. I'll check around here and see if any of my fellow combat vet friends still in needs a weekend escape!

I can always tell when I need to get afield because I start getting very short tempered and short with people. if that's the case, i should be hunting pretty much constantly. i guess it's only certain people i'm like that with though

Near the Paducah/Childress area. FO4 has a great setup going on. Just watch out for the porcupine!

lol the porcupine can make growling noises before daylight and if you dont know what it is, it will scare the heck out of you. To explain it a little better, one of the stands I have is an old farm house lol. There is a porcupine that lives under it and in the walls lol.

ha! they've already been relegated to ferret toy duty. they love tunnels. just don't train 'em to tunnel in the pants you're wearing...that gets REAL awkward REAL quick! i've got some standard ACU's I'll be bringing. Nice and comfy for spring/summer weather. And they fit!

Gordon, your support of our military men and women is fantastic. But I have to ask. Why would you post up a pic of a young man "dancing" with a deer that's been harvested?
I may get flamed for this, but it does come across as dis-respectful.
He is your friend defender your dog. Be worthy of such devotion
