Very high end.......buddy of mine just got one for $750 off Ebay........loves the clarity and quality....
I just can't see paying that much for a scope......too much for me....

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

They are good, really good. Zeiss's primary business is making the machines you look through at the eye doctor's office...

Their Conquest scopes are their low end scopes beleive it or not. They have some that cost thousands! Never heard a bad word about them.

same here, i have a lot of hunters come thru and most of them (all out of state guys) have either zeiss or swavorski scopes and binocs. all are super quality. if you can afford it go for it.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

They are one of the best,I have several and have never had a bit of trouble. As Sig said sport optics are not there primary bussiness. It is in high end optics, they are the top of the line in Inspection equipment for the machine tool ind. Can reach up close to a cool million bucks for some of there equipment.

I have the 3x9x40 Zeiss Conquest on my Remington 700. I really like the scope. Very clear, easy to sight with.

3x9x40 on my 270wsm and wouldnt have anything else. The clarity and light absorbtion in that last 30 minutes of sunset hunting is nothing short of unbelieveable.Keep in mind the old adage of 'you get what you pay for' does apply, especially for scopes.

If it's in your budget, definitely buy BUT, I always encourage people to spend money on binoculars over scopes IF money's an issue.
I know that I look through binoculars 98% of the time. I'm only using my scope for the shot. Granted, if you can't make the money shot because your scope stinks, it doesn't matter about the binos. Make sure you think through your entire bag of optics.

I hunt with an old Zeiss on my 30.06. It is a fixed 6x32. Even it lets a ton of light in. It is over 15 years old and better than new cheap ones in terms of light gathering ability. I took a deer last year over 150 yards so it works. I would like a variable one though for predators though.
