A hunter I guided out during the youth season Mar.28th has been waiting for his crack to get back out there and get on them bird's. Well I told him that I had called in 49 gobbler's thru the course of the season and not one single shot has been fired. After letting him know that the forecast was great and bird's were falling in the area we set out this morning and gave it a shot! Wait REWIND: Yesterday me John, Dean, and Dean went on a buddy hunt in the same area and had one distinctive old bird gobbling in the corner of a field and just when we thought he would come 3 coyote's came and ran off all of the bird's in the area! Ok now FAST FORWARD 24HRS: Back to this morning Same exact time Same exact old gobbler and no coyote's! After striking a few gobble's and finding out it was safe to sneak the decoy's out as he was strutting with his tail to me! B-Mobile was in the dirt and we were in the trees. Camera rollin' check, gun loaded check, Nerves well? " This is it BJ, 49 gobbler's this year and finally I think he is gonna do it!" yelp,yelp,yelp,yelp,yelp- nothin'! Same set of yelp's with a put, put, put, cluck! Nothin'! Dangit what now! Gobble tube time! Yelp Yelp Yelp goooobbbllblbllelelee! Bam The thunder in the river bottom arose and his head came straight up and locked on B-mobile! It seemed like a matter of second's and this ole' gobbler had closed 160 yard's at a dead sprint and checked in at 9-10 yard's and the fight was on! whheettt thummbbbb! spittin' and Drummin' and at full strut 9 yard's from the barrel and doesn't have a clue that "we even in the world!" With this turkey so close and not having that great of a season so far I spared the decoy and gave the green light! "Ok BJ when he comes back to the right it's all you I'm on em'" --- "Kill em' -Kill em'" Boom! rifle The 12gauge shook the whole river bottom on that 8yard turkey! I said dang feather's flyin' everywhere and he said yup right over the tree line and gone eek2! Yup it was a clean miss at 8-9 yard's on video with the biggest turkey in North TX. Video will be on Youtube later tonight and I will attach the link on here! You won't believe it! Talk about Turkey Fever Bj Was literally bout to throw up he was so sick! bang bang bang confused2

I can't wait to see the video.

Do you have a website or do you guide by word of mouth? I may be interested in a guided trip if I stike out a few times with my kiddos in tow.

OH man that sucks. But hey sometimes those closest ones are the hardest to hit. That pattern gets pretty small. Probably should have thrown the gun or hit him in the head with it. At 8 yards the pattern was probably baseball size or less.

I am Prostaff for a Hunting website and company out of Clinton Miss. I pretty much guide by word of mouth this year I have gotten a ton of thank you letter's already and the bird's weren't even hot yet! Check out the video in this topic. That's what it should be like for a while now that they are hot! food

Good video hard to stay concealed and get the picture you want. I think I know the area we came in an area and saw a B Mobile across the field so we backed out but that was around noon. Continue the good work

OhhhMan! Am I releived! When this was originally posted I was afraid Keith had used a ck instead of tt and that he actually didn't work for an outdoor video company at all but instead one of those other video companies.....Big B Mobile starring in "Spring Break Buck Crack Babes" "Watch as they run in and lock straight onto it for an hour!" Ok I gotta quit before Big Orn kicks me off THF again.

Keith I actually had heard of this product. Can't say I'll use it but I sure might have to have one of those t-shirts that says "Buck Crack-The Smells a Killer".
