Does any one have any ideas on a good scentless way to help with mosquitos while hunting? I have been shooting coons off of my feeders and I am getting ate up my mosquitos. I dont like to spray repelants on me because I am allergic to something in them and they cause me to break out in a burning painfull rash. ( I geuss I should take some mydol with it and be sure I have extra pads with me ) But seriously I hate the dang thangs and am open to suggestions.
I caint spel so good. Git off mi bak

At the house we hung ziploc freezer bags and write a large red x in sharpie marker. Will keep the skeeters occupied and flys away. Lee and Tiffany on tv endorse one that seems to work pretty well

The Thermacell is what works the best for me. You can buy one for around $30, best money Ive spent on a hunting related product. click here------> Thermacell

During some warm weather duck hunts this year I used a thermacell for the first time. You will not find me without it now.

Mosquitos love me, so I use Avon Skin so soft. Mosquitos hate it. Also you can rub a scent free/dye free fabric softner sheet on your exposed parts. It works!
I refer to animal print as "Diva Camo"

Thermacells are nice. I took one to a spot I hunt where it's not uncommon to wipe your arm once and kill a few hundred biting mosquitoes in the process. The thermacell cut down on the number of them that would try to bite, but there were still some that persisted. I definitely recommend them though, I can't stand using the sprays. Some say the smell is too strong but I've had it going when hunting hogs and had no issues, even outside of the blind.

Same here B-Ran. If it doesn't bother the senses of a hog, it sure won't bother anything else.

man, that thermocell must be like magic! They're seriously benevolent voodoo. I even put one under the poker table when we play our weekly game out in the garage.
