I have always heard that clay pigeons and jelly was great hog poison. Well, my dog just ate some clays by themselves and I am wondering if it is bad for dogs? I guess I will probably see in about ten minutes.

After about a day she seems just fine. I guess eating clay pigeons is alright for dogs. Thanks for the concern.

The sharp edges of the clays scratch the stomach up and instestinal walls....watch for bleeding discharge or get him to the VET!?

Theres a substance in clays called pitch and its poisionus to hogs. One of the few things that will kill them through injesting. I'm like Clean, the sharp edges might be harmful to intestines in other animals. But....dogs digestive systems will soften bone matter so why not clay matter?
