I got up Saturday morning and i guess I slept wrong cause my neck was hurting so I decided to not go out hunting, I instead sat around camp cleaned out the fire pit, walked around and grabbed my $12 turkey call that I got off e-bay and hit it a few times, then way in the distance I could hear a gobbler, I thought cool so I hit it a few more times and stood around camp a while longer drinking a DR. Pepper, by this time my neck felt better, it was 9am now, I decided well I'll put on my ghilli suit and wonder away from camp and sit and call awhile, so I walked about 60 yrds from camp and found me a rock to sit on and started hitting the box call and about 20 minutes later I had 2 tom's coming in and was able to take one finally I got my first, sorry for the long read, It was awesome. That was yesterday and today was my birthday so it made that much extra speacial!

Cool. Occasionally you will think man this turkey hunting thing is too easy. Then other times you will be left scratching your head going home empty handed.
