Just wanted to let u guys know that we have some great people here. I met Tigger (aka Jerry) yesterday. He read my post a few months back about wanting to take up upland bird hunting and looking for a way to get a dog without breaking the bank. He offered to give me a fully trained female, if i would give her a good home. she is getting up in the years and he wanted her to go to a good family. we figure i can hunt her 3 or so times a year, which is about all my schedule will permit. well i fell in love with Bee when i saw her, but let me tell u what, i think ive lost her to my 8yr old daughter which i knew i would. she already knows to give Regan the eye and smile and she will get a treat, plus she slept all nite in bed with her. Tigger, i dont care if she ever points a bird out to me. thank you for this addition to our family. She is going to fit right in. Although the wife and her have had few spats about being on the couch, the whole family loves her.

I'm glad you were able to find a dog. There are some great folks here - I think I probably speak for most when I say, our bird dogs get into all our hearts...

still wanting to come and hunt with you. Ive just been so busy havent been able to get my schedule and my brother in laws to overlap. I was in houston for school all week, and came home up thru Austin to meet tigger. Pm me some info on when ur hunts start back up, so i can try to get them on my schedule. and i may burn this board up with needing help on the dog. I have no clue what im doing, but Tigger assured me, Bee will train me on what to do, im just so excited about her.
