Me and my partner won our first coyote calling contest on Saturday. I called them in but he spotted them. I was surprised we won, we only got 3 dogs. I shot 2 with the 22-250 and he got the other one with the shotgun.

I'm on the left my partner is on the right. I shot the 2 on the right. He shot our little dog the one on the left.

It was just one in ruidoso NM. wasn't very big but we won $480. ya i wanted to skin that one but you can't see the hole in his back, i shot him looking at me at around 150 yards, the hole is about 6 inches in diameter.

Thats good I love the day hunting, it is more exciting to me. I guide varmint hunts in Texas and everyone wants to go at night for some reason. Night is actually more sucessful but nothing like watching one bounce in under the sunlight to me.

I live in Breckenridge, TX. It is about hour and half west of Ft Worth. Pretty much right in the middle of no where.

That is a good spot, I wish I could come up with some land out there. Do you know where Gail, TX is? It is about 30 minutes from there.

How big is your uncles ranch he takes care of? We HAD access to 64,000 acres in Gail. It was awesome, we are trying to get it back. My buddy helped guide deer hunts there and then had a falling out with the boss man that had it all leased.
