I am thinking about going with this as my rifle of choice, REMINGTON 770 COMBO either the .270 or 30.06. What do you guys think?

Either will work. I prefer the .06 because if you reaload, there is a wide, wide range of bullets for that round.

I had one & didn't like it. I bought a stevens model 200 and I do like it. U can get a stevens .270 at academy for like $230 + tax. Its a better gun, in my opinion.

My nephew has 770 in .243 and it shoots great. But, I think a dedicated hog rifle should be semi-auto. You never know when you're going to get into a big mess of them.



Shoot. Eat. Repeat.
