i was wanting to know if anyone knew the dimentions that i would need to build a square feeder that would hold about 600 pounds of corn.

I would go to academy and buy the Big A Feeder...constructed very well for 350 bucks. Replace the timer with something else, its a POS.

two 55 gallon barrels will give you 600lbs

The Big A feeders are fine, but they need a few minor upgrades for me. I have 3 bought them all at the end of the season for just over 200.00. I can easily get 1350 lbs in them, But i weld up the 3 piece legs so they are a bit more stable. I then upgrade the spinner motor and plate to a 12 volt system and add a remmington timer.

I bought them over several years at Academy. Usually at the beginning and the end of deer season they will run an unadvertised sale or clearance on them. They look like this

You will also need a Good varmit cage because the Coons will climb right up the ladder and help themselves.

mine is 28" square 4' tall and it holds 800

i have some 400lb. feeders for $250 brand new, the pic is of the 200 lb feeders,but I don't have any of those.

11.5 cubic feet or 85 gallons
