I have a surefire 6p does anybody know which cr123a works best? Im using energizer photo right now thinking about getting a rechargable setup,dont know if they have more or less run time.

surefire makes a battery thats cheaper than the photo battery(energizer,duracell). I not sure about the run time but in mine I would guess it to be about the same.

In my opinion the rechargeables dont last as long per charge, and don't store charged as well as fixed alk. batteries.

For 123's we use Streamlight's branded batteries (cheaper) and they do fine. What I have stored long term are duracell.

Yeah my buddy bought 12 of them (streamlight) said I could try a couple out, I upgraded my buld to the p61 which is 120 lumens but only 20min run time (ouch) he bought a jet stream that is 450-700 lumens and it is so bright and the runtime is a lot longer but three times as much for the light. I apperciate the info.

i use the streamlight cr123s as well, but im thinking about getting the batt pack from sniperhawglights.com but dont wanna waste my dinero if they wont hold a charge well.....
