I've recently been given a Hoyt bow, case, release, target, and arrows for a gift. This is my first compound to shoot, and so far I like it. My question is on buying arrows. I have two field point fitted arrows right now. I'm not sure of the length of them, but I was wanting to buy a few more for target practice. If I take an arrow to Gander Mountain or Academy, can they measure that arrow to cut the new ones?

Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

Academy will not cut them. Bass pro has excellent customer service with archery. do not go to gander IMO.

do i need to take off the field point to take up there? I went Saturday to the one in Tyler, and shot in the range. The tech there was super nice. I guess I could measure it myself and take up there, but I think the other way would be easier. Just want some cheap arrows to practice with.

Try East Texas Archery. They're on 31 W.

You can't really be lost if you don't care where you are.

East tx archery or gm will help get you set up. Take your bow and release and let them make sure your arrows are the length they need to be.

Take you bow with you so they can fit your arrows to your bow.
