I have to say this again. I had one of the best hunts of my life this duck season in New Mexico this year with my BIL hunting for Cin Teal. Man that was a great time. I feel as if I'm beating a dead horse talking about it but it sure was fun to hunt in a new spot looking for a bird that neither of us had ever seen. It was as if the whole time we looked at ducks it was a let down that they were not that pretty color. To be real honest I think that this hunt will be hard to beat but I'm gonna give it a shot year after year going to new spots looking for new birds. Thanks again to FD, and to Moose for lighting the duck fire in me once more. This beat the heck out of shooting that banded mallard by myself while looking over a tank dam.....but that was cool too. Heres one more pic until next year.

that's a great lookin bird Jason!!! I don't think I've even shot one that nice. The one on my wall got hammered by 5 guys at once, so it didn't turn out the best. Maybe we can all make a late season trip next year!

That was a beauty of a bird. Hopefully I will get my woodie next year...

I read that there are only about 200,000 of them in North America.....wonder how long we will be able to shoot them. The story said that the BWT in Cali are taken over all the cins.....

Last weekend of the 05-06 season...(hunted in TEXAS)

Last Saturday of season I shot:

Then on the last day:

Was one "GREAT" way to end the season! smile
