I follow water.... drain creek, etc, they jump them, they lose them on the edge, they might fall down in a creek and get washed up on a sandbar. I looked for a week straight last year and didn't find the first one while looking, first time I mowed the pasture, the bushhog found 3.

Creek bottoms and fence lines are the two places I find the most. When they jump the fence it jars the antlers loose. Trails leading to and from feeders are good places to look also.

Put a couple inches of corn in the bottom of a bucket. With the bucket on the ground, wire the bucket handle to a tree near a trail. Bucks will sometimes knock their horns off trying to get to the corn.

If U can't find the horns, get the horns to find you.

really thick places, creek bottoms and other than that luck
The beauty of the Second Ammendment is it won't be needed until they try and take it.

You nailed it......we've found tons of sheds by walking down the trails that lead away from feeders, and by just walking fence lines.

man i've found hundreds of sheds.......but until i started hunting really high density deer areas i think i've found only a handful.
fence lines and brushy games trails is where if find most of them.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I actually found a shed before deer season this year. It was on a well used game path. I had walked that path 2-3 times in the previous week and never saw it.
I was walking it again and just happened to look down and see it. Even though it was stark white-it was still pretty hard to see laying in the grass.
A hog is nothing more than a bullet receptacle.

Find a lot in fields while riding an ATV and a lot along fence lines and on both sides of fence surrounding feed pens.

You really have to look for them as they blend in well, get eaten up by rats & critters. My friend will always find 2-3 per yr wherever we hunt when I never see em. Now I look harder before he gets there.
