ktxhunter...first off welcome to the forum. You will find there are a ton of nice guys here but there are many who get their panties in a wad about naming the lake. That is what the two posts above mine are referring too and also why you haven't received a response. Good luck and get your flack jacket out because it is probably coming now

people search the internet for places to go and if they hear that lake so and so was good, they will more than likely go there. By the time one person finds out its a good lake, you will have hundreds throughout the season go and see how good it is, causing people to set up on top of each other which=hell
-If I buy any more waterfowl hunting stuff this year I'll be eating cat food and crackers for dinner.

Nope its about killing ducks, if you want to help the barneys lease a big private lake and take them all there with you. Don't brag on the internet when you shoot a couple ducks somewhere

Poor kid maybe learned a lesson the hard way, it was a good spot til this year thanx again to da interwebz!!!

That's impossible. . . because if you ask 90% of the folks on here who promote naming hunting locations on the internet, it only helps people, not ruin/overcrowding areas.

wow, these threads get rediculous in a hurry!! Solution to problem = go lease some private land somewhere and you dont have to fool with everyone that gets their panties in a wad about people knowing the lakes they hunt.

KTXHUNTER, don't listen to any of these guys. If you're huntin public, you should be able to say where you are hunting, so that workaholics that "can't" scout can go have a decent hunt. Also, let us know if you have a blind set up. GPS coordinates are must so that other hunters can share and help make improvements if needed. I'm sure most hunters would step aside if you say you own the blind.

Personally, not that anyone cares (insert joke here), I have no problem helping out folks through PM. I've also been bitten by Al Gore's public lake naming internets a few years ago and the place has yet to recover.
