Amistad NRA has proven to be the best kept secret in Texas for bowhunting. I went out to Del Rio,Texas to Lake Amistad NRA to the best bowhunting around. I see now why its the best kept secret by the locals there. I'll be back there this coming season. If you do decide to go out there get all the info on Amistad NRA before you go. not really a secret. there's a group from the bowshop in san antone that goes every year. it would be over hunted like everything else if it wasn't so far out of the way.

And the folks on the Migratory Birds/Duck spots aren't the only ones who have those telling of Good hunting spots/lakes/etc.

who the heck wants to go all the way out there...besides looks like Mexican drug running/gang territory.
3 or 4 inches on a map that takes 2 days to get there, lol.
Forum says "Veteran Tracker". I could not track a garbage truck into a fireworks factory.
