Feeeder light worked well for me this weekend. Just as others have said, the hog just ignored the light. Easy 100 yard shot w/ the light, lots cheaper than night vision. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic - all I had. David

Awesome what kind of light did you get? I saw em at harbor freight for 80 bucks.

Sorry, don't remember the model off the top of my head - it's the 3 LED light supposed to be equivalent to a 15 watt halogen light. Purchased at Lowes's. I attached the light to 1 x 6's cut to fit, attached those to an 8' PVC 2" pipe w/ deck screws. Hammered a t-post in and slid the PVC over the t-post. I also cut a few teeth into the bottom of the PVC to stopit from rotating (probably a waste of time).

There's a lot of different varieties - 1 LED, 1 halogen, smaller solar panel, etc. I'm happy w/ the larger solar panel, 3 LED, 5minute illumination cycle.

Been using them for a few years, and the are like anything else buy the cheap one and it probably won't last. I have 3 different models right now and the 100 dollar one from home depot is the best one so far.

I have the kill light by ellusive and i like it the thing is bright. If you want something cheap go to walmart to the camping isle and look for the tent light. it is round and you can hang it. you can also take it apart very easy when putting batteries in and color the lights gree if you feel like it, it uses 4 AA and the sucker puts out lots of light it has probaly 10-15 led lights.

Same here on the lights from Lowe's and Home Depot. I covered the lense with yellow plastic on one and red plastic on the other and it has never bothered the hogs or raccoons. I think for $100.00 each you can't beat it.
