Get a part number and put it into Google. The go up top and click "shopping". Then sort by price. That will pretty much do the dirty work for you. I've been looking at Nikons and www.manventureoutpost.com seems to be the cheapest, but not by a lot. There are a lot of places out there that can beat Cabela's/BPS/etc. by a LOT.

I did that and that is how I found the gun source , they are about 400 bucks less than cabelas ans almost 100 less than the cheapest I found and optics planet and a bunch of others , but I have heard optics planet is shady at times on shipping and deals which is why I also was hoping to hear from somebody that had used the gn source , it says they have been in business since 1999 , but I never heard of them till I searched the part number , but for that much difference I might have to try them , sigfan had a post sometime back about the particular one I want but it was a one time deal and was gone too quick for me and he never got back with a price that he could do

Usually there are some reviews of the retailer on the Google shopping site. If they're good, then I say it's worth a try.

You might could also try sending an email to Leupold customer service to make sure they're an authorized dealer and if there would be any issues with warranty on a scope from there.

try libertyoptics.com It may not be on website so request a price. He came in way cheaper on the one I bought and is a recognized name on another forum that deals with guns.

Sure wish you guys would use Leupolds five digit part number... there so many variants of scopes close its hard to compare apples to apples... and Leupold is not helping by changing about half their parts numbers due to a seal change in the scopes...

Yeah I was right that one does not exist anymore. Can get it without the B&C or with B&C but not illum. They are changing the seals inside them, so a part number change is coming....

Without the illum the new version is $916, that number 66715. That's about a $100 jump from the closeouts, so if you can find one of those go for it.

I'll put it on the list see if we can find one from a smaller wholesaler still on the shelves

I got my scope from them and I will say that the customer service is pretty good as far as customer servic goes , I called to verify that the scope got shipped from subvendor to store then to me and the service was very understanding as to why I was calling and willing to answer any questions I had , price was lower than anybody else except Sigfan but his was a one time only deal and I missed it , I will order from them again
