 Magnifer for Eotech - Need some help

If I buy 3x magnifier for an Eotech what could I expect my FOV {field of view} to be at 100 yards? Is it comparible to 4x9 or a 4x12 scope? This is my first AR and I have it dialed in a 50 yards but really want to shoot it a little further...This is it at 50 yards.

It will be comparible to any other 3 power magnification scope. I think Eotechs website has the info.
