Long time lurker first time post. I'm sure this has been discussed before but the search option has not found anything for me. Looking to find a taxidermist in the Dallas area that charges a reasonable rate for a full body bobcat. $495 seems a little excessive to me. What do ya'll think? Also would like to hear from other Coke County hunters as to their year so far.

I know alot that charge more than that. They are hard and you have to be very very careful or there hair will slip and fall out. There is also alot of sewing on them and alot of taxidermist send there hides out to a tannery and they charge a good bit for hides.Hope this helps you some.

I charged $500 for them about 5 years ago and dont even do them anymore . I can do 2 deer in the same time frame and get $395 for whitetails shoulder mounts. If you get quality work $500 is on the cheap side.Look at their work and see what you are buying.

I'm getting $675.

$495 seems low to me.

might call Doug Dooley in Rockwall. Did mine for $250 but that was 10 years ago. Looks great still.

I highly recommend Gary Ditto in Irving, his number is 972 255-0934. I have seen several of his full mount bobcats and they look very good. He is also very reasonably priced.
