I am looking at a used Kel Tec PF 9. The seller said it is about a year old. How do you tell the year the gun was made by the ser #. Its sound like a good deal, I just want know its true age .

Don't know of any way to tell age by serial number except by contacting the factory directly.

Why does it matter? Guns don't typically deteriorate with age. PF9's aren't subject to have a whole lot of rounds put through them. As long as it is in good shape mechanically and he isn't asking more than it's worth, go for it.

Lots of good info at Keltec Owners Group Forum and at the forum thread specifically about the PF9 KTOG PF9 .

Only at the end do you realize the power of the Dark Side.
