What I have always liked about that picture is the platform and the flooded timber. I am a swamp collie person for the most part and when it comes to labs, black is my flavor. You can't beat that look though, love to see the dogs with all that anticipation in their eyes. Everytime they see a duck in the sky, it's Christmas for them. People always ask me (those who don't understand) if I give them a treat for retrieving the duck? I say no. They think it is mean, but they don't understand that retrieving the duck is their treat. LOL Hell I wish it was Christmas everytime I saw a duck fly. They truely love it and that is why it's not duck hunting unless I have my dog.

Whew... Other than to say excellent OP and first comment... I couldn't think of anything I could add to this string! All I can say is, the pick, the comment and the first response got my blood pumping. Those 'treat' folk just don't understand... these dogs LIVE for this!

what do ya'll think they're looking at?  haha that yella dog has some real intensity coming from those eyes. I was trying to get Cali to look at me for this pic, but for some reason she wouldn't... after I took it I turned around to about 15 ducks lighting into the decoys. Lucky for them we already had a limit.
