Just got the call last night lost our lease after 10 years.Owner sold out from under us. How is the best way to find a family lease?

Just got the call last night lost our lease after 10 years.Owner sold out from under us. How is the best way to find a family lease? Join the club..I Have been hitting the streets..Looking for a new year round lease myself..I have gotten my best leads so far by getting out and talking to people at feed stores, and coffee gas stations..

I see classified ads in our local news paper here in Goldthwaite from hunters wanting hunting leases. I personally don't know if if the ads work or not.

We lost ours also after 15 years. When you find one you like you need your group ready with their Check Books, because when you drive off someone else will drive up. Good Luck!!

dang greedy land owners... You can blame that on the economy and the folks that voted for "O". Money talks and you know the rest. Can't be mad at the landowner's though. As it IS their land. Sometimes things work out for the best though. Atleast, I hope so for ya. I'm also lookin' for a lease, but nothin' yet.

That sucks. Really sorry to hear that. That's why I say if you're leasing, screw managing deer. Just shoot what the TP&W lets you shoot and go on with it. You can manage all you wan for nothing.

dang greedy land owners... Yes, we all know you own land and always side with landowners, but come on. It is just common courtesy to let your hunters know you are selling when you decide you are going to. TS, good luck finding a lease.
