Actually, I do wake up and want squirrel and rabbit from time to time....nothing like a good chicken fried squirrel, with mashed pots and gravy, green beans, and a High Life.
Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

FoxTrot's gramma can apparently whip up a rediculously good bit of squirrel and dumplins...
Beer of the world beware. I'll kill an 18 pack just to watch it die.

Cut the little fella into small pieces and stuff in Jalepenos pepers with cream cheese. Cut Thick sliced pepper bacon in 1/2 strips and wrap them and skewer. Cook over grill heat until bacon is done and serve.

Fry the young ones and make dumlins out of the older ones. It's a country thing I suppose.

Squirrel is good. Actually a game animal in some states with a season. Raccoon and Possum not so much. It's a game animal in this state? Ends this Sunday the 7th until the spring season.

Well, this isn't much help but I let mine lay where they drop for yotes or buzzards. Tried ever recipe known to man and they all taste like a rodent and they all suck. Good target practice. Shoot um am let um lay. Good for the environment.

Last time I checked, squirrel was the only game animal you could hunt in Dallas County...there's got to be thousands of them on the south side of town.
BTW...cook them on the stove.
