I have a fullfield 2 on my 30-06 and it hasn't lost it's zero yet. The BDC reticle is about 1 inch off but that's ok.

I own 3 Burris Fullfield IIs, one Nikon Buckmasters, and one Leupold VX-I. I have also owned two Leupold Vari-X IIIs and sold them as they were not as nice as their price to me. I prefer my Burris over the others that I have had experience with.

Is the ballistic-plex 1" off of Burris's reference to each grain bullet that comes with the scope?

I'm not sure. I think I lost the info on it. But with a 165 grain Game King it was just about 1 inch high at 200 yards the other day. I really like my Burris though.

Shooting 30/06 165 gr at 2800 fps with a 100 yd zero which is how the ballistic-plex is designed to work then you should be
0 @100yd
-1" @200 yd
-1" @300 yd
-2" @400 yd
-4" @500 yd

Own Burris and Leupold. For the last few years I have really grown to love the Burris. It is all that I recommend nowdays.

My dad bought a burris scope 25 years ago new and still has it on his Ruger m77 .280. It has never lost its zero after that long. That says something about Burris scopes.

I have limited scope experience but just bought my second Burris FF II and like them a lot. You may want to check your local Academy, the one I bought was on clearance with a GPS for $169.00 and they had about 8 of them. I almost bought another one but I don't have a rifle yet for the second scope.

I've got them on a 243, 257, and 7 mag and love them. Best scope for the money if you ask me.

Awesome scope, I was a Leupold man, and have several. But I also have several Burris scopes. I do alot of night hunting and had rather use the burris at night. Watch ebay and you can get the 4.5x14x42 for around 240.00 shipped. Not a bad deal for the quality of scope. They also have the same warranty as Leupold.
