Here's the deal saw him briefly at 2:10 pm Saturday before last. I just got in the blind gettin situated, looked out , he was watching me, reach for my rifle- he trotted off. He came out about 10 yds behind the feeder. This past weekend my cousins hubby saw him on the otherside of fence line( not our property, about 50 yds from blind/feeder)) he never would come across the fence according to him. ITs a heavy horn 8 point and a good 25-28 inch spread. Real high tines and appears to be even . What would you try? I'm headed up friday pm and plan on daylight-dark in field hunting trying to get him. I tried the tinks 69, got a nice 9 point sunday late pm weekend before last. gonna try rattling, grunt calls, praying..etc

Throw some corn out in the area and try to hold him if he comes in early/late - on your side of the fence.

or

Dress your cousin's hubby up as a doe and sprinkle some hot doe scent on'em.

<grin>

Might try setting up on the other side of the feeder somewhere if the wind is right. I know at my lease the deer know what a blind is and the older deer will avoid the general vicinity when not in rut. Just thinking if the buck checks out the blind and sees that is not being hunted he might come in to the corn at the feeder and probably will not give you a look at all. Just make sure your are downwind of the where he will come in.

Great advice Buck, I have a stand I dont hunt anymore because the deer always check it out when they go through. If I sit in a different spot they are not spooky.

The only sure way to get him is have one of your hunters hunt on the other side of the fence on the other property where you are not supposed to be and you hide on yours he will come over onto your side works every time....

I'll try that, the feeder is about 150 yds off fence line and blind is 50yds off. When I saw him he came up off river bottom on a well traveled game trail that runs up to the feeder.
thx
