Had an opportunity Friday evening to take a new friend from Minnesota out to my lease for a quick hog hunt. He had his own NV equipment, GEN III binoculars and rifle scope, on his AR10. This hunt is going to be tough to beat. We met up at 6:30, got out there and immediately heard them from 150 yards away under the feeder squealing. Snuck up to them and there was one DRT shortly after 7PM. He went about 100 Lbs. It's never that easy when i'm out there.........

Nice shot placement on that Booger! Saving as we speak, for Night Vision Scope or Bino's. Can't decide if I'd rather have a NV scope to shoot without any light or NV Bino/Googles to locate before set up and then useing typical Red lense spotlight. What do u guys think? I know I can't afford both!

why not just save alot of money and buy a red feeder light from texasboars.com? they have the best on the market. from what ive heard the generation 1 and 2 night vision scopes arent worth the money because they arent that clear and are blurry.

Got some TB Big Red feeder lights being delivered this weekend, but the ability of getting out and stalking the hogs that the NV gear gives you is a HUGE advantage. For me it would mean that my chances of taking multiple hogs each hunt would go way up.
