...Well, Jeremy of Country Duck Outfitters called me just in time to put a hunt together on the last day of the Season. I hafta tell ya'll that due to the nature of small business, I can't routinely put my name on an outfitter, etc. I will make an exception this time as Jeremy and his wife are some of the nicest folks you'll ever want to meet. Excellent lodging, great scouting and lots of birds. One very nice thing about CDO is that they can put you on a certain specimen that you might be looking to harvest for your personal collection. What a great time...thanks Jeremy! (Oh yeah, fresh donuts in the field is a nice touch. :D) http://www.huntcdo.com/

The Gad is first on my list for next year's Taxidermy Competetion... up

Overheard at my last convention: "If you wanna make a million bucks in taxidermy, start out with 2 million and in 5 years, if you're lucky, you'll have a million left."

Just finished up this Gadwall last night, carded and injected his feet before I went to bed. Going to put another one under him.

Hey Matt,

What are you using to degrease your birds? They always look so good. I have been having hell trying to get mine to come clean.
